After working in the corporate world for more than 30 years, Debbie Pruneri McKeown needed an adventure, and she found it in a business venture that came from both her heart and her dad. "My father, Battista Pruneri, worked literally seven days a week, and he was renowned for the sausages he made. My mother was a fantastic cook," remembers Debbie, "and when she took a job it became my responsibility to make dinners. In later years, as a mother of five, I realized that doing your own cooking isn't just economical, but it keeps the spirit of the big family meal alive. We spend hours at our table - eating and drinking and visiting - it's part of the social nature of being a family."
